Our commitment to providing quality meats comes hand in hand with our commitment to creating a short supply chain. By sourcing regionally and processing locally, we aim to minimize the distance our food travels from farm to plate because we believe it is better for the environment. We partner with farmers in the Great Lakes Region whose practices show a respect for the land, the environment, and the well-being of their animals. We visit all of our farm partners to validate their soft handling practices, as well as the animals' housing, diet, and access to exercise. Our goal is to foster stronger connections between producers, consumers, and communities.

    Zeeland, MI

    In order to work within Michigan's unique environment and climate, Moraine Park Farms moved beyond grass-fed and created a production system that they have termed "Craft Beef." Grazing livestock on pasture is the foundation of their operation, and is enhanced with seasonal shelter and supplemental feeding for the benefit of the land, the animals, and the final product. The quality is unparalleled and is the essence of Marrow's beef supply.

    Modreske Swine Farms in Zeeland has been in the family for over 100 years. That's 4 generations committed to local agriculture, humane raising of animals, and a dedication to environmental sustainability.

    Otto's Chickens produces farm fresh, all-natural chickens, which are raised in open barns, and are entirely free of hormones, and antibiotics.

    Backus Farms is a fourth-generation family farm dedicated to raising happier, healthier cows. Their cattle are pasture-raised with ample space to graze, and their diets are supplemented with homegrown corn silage and hay to keep them warm through the winter and resulting in tender, flavorful meat.     On the north side of Holland, Michigan, the family behind Prairie View Farms is deeply committed to keeping farmland in farming. As they transition from the third to the fourth generation, they continue to raise lambs, turkeys, and cattle using ethical, sustainable practices providing both their community and ours with quality, integrity, and care.
